SP Televisão delivered a solidarity check to APAV

Due to its social responsibility policy, SP Televisão signaled yesterday the delivery of the solidarity check, in the amount of €2.155, to the Portuguese Association for Victim Support (APAV).
The ceremony was held at SP Televisão and was attended by the actress Inês Castel-Branco and the President of APAV, João Lázaro.
The amount raised will now be used to rehabilitate a shelter for victims of violence, as explained by the APAV President during the ceremony.
This was the 5th edition of the SP Television's wardrobe sale, but the first with a supportive nature.
The initiative was aimed to alerting and helping to combat the serious problem of domestic violence, a theme that was always present in the telenovela "Amor Maior", namely through the character Francisca, played by the actress Inês Castel-Branco.
About 100 pieces of clothing were sold, out of a total of 120 included in this special sale. Prices ranged from €15 to €150.
The wardrobe sale took place on January 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th, at the SP Televisão studios.
Besides the solidarity sale, more than 1500 pieces of clothing, used by the characters of the different SP Televisão projects, were available for sale and within the reach of any viewer.
