Maria João Bastos is back!

Last Sunday, August 31, during the daytime program Domingão, a major announcement was made regarding SP Televisão's upcoming project for SIC.

Daniel Oliveira, General Director of Entertainment at IMPRESA and Director of Programming at SIC, revealed the name of the actress who is returning to SIC.  Maria João Bastos will join the next project between SP Televisão and SIC alongside other well-known faces. After her great success in Flor Sem Tempo, the actress returns to national fiction with a prominent role.

“Maria João Bastos is filming in Brazil and is now coming to play a major villain - the character originally played by Lília Cabral,” Daniel Oliveira confirmed live on air.

He also revealed other big names that will be part of the star-studded cast, namely Pepê Rapazote, Sofia Alves, Júlia Palha, Lourenço Ortigão, and the return of actor Tiago Teotónio Pereira to the channel.
