Páginas da Vida premieres on 23 February on SIC, OPTO and PRIME

On 23 February, SIC, OPTO and Prime will premiere the new soap opera produced by SP Televisão, Páginas da Vida, an intense story about love, loss, secrets and second chances, inspired by the emotional universe of Manoel Carlos.

Based on the original work “Páginas da Vida”, the soap opera follows the journey of Nanda, a young woman who experiences intense love in Brazil and returns to Portugal pregnant and alone, beginning a narrative marked by difficult choices, family conflicts and a profound struggle for the right to love and truth. At the centre of the story is Clara, a child with trisomy 21, a symbol of hope and transformation, around whom several families and destinies intersect.

Páginas da Vida has a stellar cast, including Sofia Alves, Maria João Bastos, Lourenço Ortigão, Júlia Palha, Tiago Teotónio Pereira, and Evandro Gomes. The children's cast includes Margarida Moreira, Martim Elias, and Martim Gomes, with special appearances by Madalena Almeida and Manuela Couto.

The telenovela is written by Sandra Santos and Alexandre Castro, based “Páginas da Vida” by Manoel Carlos. The project is directed by Jorge Queiroga, with Bruno Oliveira as production director and Rui M. Silva, Patrícia Resende and Rafael Fonseca as cast directors. Hélder Loureiro is the director of photography and Bruno M. Oliveira, Jorge Queiroga, Ricardo Inácio and Tiago Alvarez Marques are the directors.

Páginas da Vida is a telenovela about the bonds that unite us, the choices that define us, and the pages of life that never close completely.
