NAZARÉ and WILD LAND Shine on French TF1
The telenovelas NAZARÉ and WILD LAND, produced by SP Televisão and broadcast by SIC, are consolidating their international success through the streaming platform of TF1, the largest French television network.
The Portuguese storylines, which had already captivated local audiences, have expanded their reach to countries such as France, Monaco, Andorra, Switzerland, and Luxembourg. In Belgium, WILD LAND is specifically distributed under the title Les Flammes du Passé.
A Global Sales Phenomenon
The impact of these productions extends far beyond Europe. The export potential of Portuguese fiction is evident in the distribution figures: NAZARÉ has been sold to more than 125 countries, and WILD LAND is available in over 95 countries. The markets span regions as diverse as Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East and North Africa.
Award-Winning Recognition
The technical and narrative quality of both series has been validated by international juries, with NAZARÉ earning accolades at the World Media Festival (Silver Medal) and being a finalist at the prestigious New York Festivals and Rose d’Or Awards. WILD LAND, meanwhile, won the Gold Medal at the 21st World Media Festival.
This new step at TF1 solidifies the commitment of SIC and SP Televisão to positioning Portugal as an exporter of fiction content with strong global appeal.
