Season 3 of SALTO DE FÉ Premieres on August 3
The iconic Father Tiago returns on the evening of August 3 on RTP1. Following the success of its first two seasons, the series produced by SP Televisão is back, bringing viewers closer once again to the adventures and misadventures of this young parish priest, an idealist who believes in the goodness of people but is constantly put to the test by the quirky communities to which he is assigned.
In the new season, Tiago faces his greatest challenge yet: he must save a Portuguese border village, the picturesque Ribeira Sonsa, whose residents believe they have every right to become Spanish. Thanks to a mix of historical grievances and bizarre natural events - a flash flood changed the course of the river and destroyed the village's centuries-old church - they dream of having a King instead of a President, enjoying midday siestas, paying less for petrol, and embracing other perceived Spanish perks. Tiago is entrusted with the mission of restoring the church, rekindling the villagers' faith, and reviving their Portuguese pride… but it won't be easy.
Featuring a host of new characters determined to make Father Tiago's life even more complicated, this comedy series stars Adriano Luz, Joana Duarte, Miguel Damião, Sofia Arruda, Manuel Marques, Diogo Valsassina, and Frederico Amaral.
SALTO DE FÉ is a 15-episode comedy series, with each episode running approximately 25 minutes. The series is directed by Jorge Queiroga.
