LADY OF TIDES - First images released

The first images of LADY OF TIDES, the new SIC soap opera produced by SP Televisão, were presented yesterday, February 2, to the entire production team, technicians, actors, scriptwriters, directors and producers.

It was at SP's premises, in a relaxed atmosphere representative of Terceira Island, in the Azores, where the plot takes place, that the SP Televisão board, represented by Jorge Marecos and João Pedro Lopes, met with SIC's program directors, Daniel Oliveira and Daniel Cruzeiro, as well as Mónica Serrano, who recently took over as Impresa's Communications and Marketing director.

Before watching some scenes from the new soap opera, which is scheduled to premiere next Monday, February 5, Jorge Marecos and Daniel Oliveira affirmed their conviction in the success of this production.

"Success is made with the right people. Talented, motivated people, and, more than naming names, the important thing is to realize that we've been a family throughout these 16 years of relationship with SIC. I'd like to say a very special thank you to the entire cast and technical team, because the difficulty they've had and the effort they've made to get this soap opera on the air within deadlines that were absolutely difficult to meet is absolutely commendable. We really believe in this truly special project," said the SP Televisão Director.

Daniel Oliveira was grateful to the whole team, saying, "We're very pleased to have the great director Manuel Amaro once again. Someone who takes the project from start to finish and knows exactly what's going on at all times and has exceptional accuracy. It's going to premiere at the right time and I'm sure it's going to be a very Portuguese story, which is a premise we wanted to achieve and I'm sure it's going to be a huge success," said the SIC Director of Entertainment.
